I've been in sales 16 years now.  My first real sales job was with Xerox Canada. They engrained so much into my head that I still practice their techniques today.
One thing they preached was too continuously keep the funnel full, or at least close to the top.

Even on those days when you sign some big business, keep prospecting.  Many people will "reward" themselves after a big order thinking that I can take it easy for a while.....WRONG.  The best time to prospect is after that big order when you are feeling the most positive!

Come Rain, Snow, Sleet or Sun, Prospect Prospect Prospect and remember A~B~C ...Always Be Closing!
