About
Author of the Mann Made Blog, Jaime Lee Mann, has always loved writing and has a talent for expressing her thoughts through the written word. As an administrative assistant, she would often do a complete overhaul of correspondence she was given to review, thinking nothing of it, much to the delight of her employers!
In her virtual assistance business, Mann Made Time, word quickly spread about Jaime’s knack for writing, and the projects started pouring in by referral. To better serve her clients, Jaime became a knowledge junkie. She started inhaling books, subscribing to blog feeds and taking courses that would educate her further about the art of copywriting. And, of course, a lot of learning was done just by doing!
In September of 2008, Jaime made the decision to take her love and talent for writing and use it to launch a completely new business that would run independently of her VA firm. Work began on a new brand, and Mann Made Copy launched in March of 2009.
Jaime’s heart is in creative writing, and when she’s not spending time with her husband Jason and their preschool-aged children, she’s pecking away at her novel and working at getting her first children’s book published.

Hi Jaime,
Long time since we touched base, eh? Good to see things are going well for you. I’ve been working in a small office for a big local trucking company so I have been gaining some experience and helpful ideas as to how I run my own business. I hope to have the same successful results as I look to gradually start my own virtual business as you have been able to do. I’ve been working fulltime in just about as much time as you’ve been in your own virtual business. It would be nice to know on days like these when it is snowing that I can work from home and not have to fight traffic or weather issues on a constant basis.
I’m currently working around with PowerPoint 2007 – yes, I upgraded a couple of months ago to Office Pro 2007 after using trials for Office suites in Microsoft Office 2007. Sure feels nice to have a full version of Office Pro now. I will be doing lots of training to get myself up to speed in more applications. Now i am in PowerPoint and next, my goal is to get up to speed with Publisher. I may not use them in my business but if I can do well enough in them I can use them effectively in tools for promoting my business.
Talk with you soon, and it will be neat to see what I can contribute to your blogs!

Hi Jamie, I’de like to take a second to introduce myself. I consider myself an idealist, meaning that my brain never sleeps. Since the age of about 9, I have always had a desire to write. It started with a 5 page story about a blue bird and 3 hatchling. This is not why I am writing you though. I haven’t written anything since. I have the worst case of ADD, “I am like my worst enemy”. I have tons of books on writing short stories, children stories, and screenplays. I am writing you for help or serious suggestion. I cannot stay in a frame of mind long enough to complete anything. I know the things I shouldn’t do as a writer yet I do them. I was curious to know if a “ghostwriter” my be someone to find with help completing at least 1 book or screenplay in my lifetime? You could reach me through my e-mail. I appreciate your time and reading some of your blog. lol ADD effects my inability to completely read everything. “BAD ADD!”
